The STF and the police of Chhoudahi police station got this success from near Sihma Chowk of Chhoudahi police station area.

In 2022, a Dalit woman of Purpathar village located in Sahuri Panchayat of Chhoudahi police station area was brutally murdered by slitting her throat after being raped in the field. The case of the border area of ????Begusarai and Samastipur district had become very high profile, Chirag Paswan also raised the voice of the incident in Parliament.

Police caught him by laying siege

After the incident, an FIR was lodged in Chhoudahi police station against some people of Nayanagar village of border Hasanpur police station area. The accused in this case, Kamlesh Kumar alias Bhulla, was absconding for about two years. On the recommendation of Begusarai SP, Bihar Police Headquarters had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Bhulla. Since then, the police of Chhoudahi police station was searching for him. But on not getting success, SP Manish had also put the SOG of STF behind it. Meanwhile, in the evening, information was received that Kamlesh Kumar alias Bhulla is near Sihma Chowk. As soon as the input was received, the STF and the police of Chhoudahi police station surrounded him.

As soon as the police got a hint, Bhulla tried to dodge. But the team arrested him. SHO Pawan Kumar Singh said that on December 1, 2022, the body of the woman was recovered from the sugarcane field. Kamlesh Kumar alias Bhulla was the FIR accused in this case. On the basis of secret information, he was arrested near Sihma Chowk and further action is being taken.
