In Karnataka, dalit assistant got appointment in Anganwadi, so people stopped sending children
In Karnataka, there was a ruckus after the Dalit assistant was appointed in the Anganwadi center. Our country has been plagued by the poison of casteism for a long time. In different parts of the country, we still get to see the news of casteism and people being harassed because of it. Our country may be running at the pace of development, but there is a section of the society which is still harassed and a similar case has come to the fore from Karnataka also.
In fact, a dalit woman was appointed as a helper in an Anganwadi center in Bidar district of Karnataka. Just what was after that the so called upper caste people got offended by this and started boycotting Anganwadi Kendra itself and refused to send their children to that Anganwadi centre.
As soon as this Dalit woman was posted as a helper in Anganwadi center in Karnataka, people refused to send their children to Anganwadi center and parents were told that they should avoid touching their children with this Dalit helper. Will save
As soon as the district administration and the Women and Child Welfare Department got information about this incident, both reached the village and tried to convince the people, but despite this, the parents are not ready to accept it.
