Bullies grabbed Dalit’s house by showing fear of killing his sons.
Lucknow: Indiranagar, car riders took a Dalit hostage at gunpoint from Ram-Ram intersection. He was put in the car and taken to the registry office. There, by showing fear of killing their sons, the bullies got the house registered in their name. After this the Dalit was freed from bondage. Making this allegation, the victim has filed a case in Indiranagar Kotwali.
Called me to meet, made me sit in the car with a gun in my hand
According to Sohanlal, a resident of Indiranagar Pani village, on May 3, Ishaan Khan called him and asked him to meet at Ram-Ram intersection. Where Mohd. resident of Azamgarh Chitara along with Ishaan. Usman, Ashraf Jamal, Shamshuddin, resident of Gosainganj, Uzair Hussain and Shariq Zafar were present. On the pretext of conversation, the accused made Sohanlal sit in the car. Then, placing the pistol close to his temple, he asked for the deed of the house to be done in favor of Ashraf, Usman and Shamshuddin. When Sohanlal refused, the accused said that our people are present outside your house. If the deed is not done then your sons Akash and Deepak will be murdered. Sohanlal got scared after hearing this. Sohanlal, who was held hostage at gunpoint, agreed to sign the deed. After this he was taken to the registry office and the deed was done. Then the accused drove away after giving only six lakh rupees. Sohanlal, who reached home after escaping from the clutches of the bullies, informed the family about the incident.
vacate the house in three days
According to the victim, along with getting the deed of registration done, the bullies had warned them to vacate the house in three days. When the house was not vacated within the stipulated time, Usman and his associates started threatening him by calling. Reiki was conducted by sending unknown people outside the house. After this the victim reached Indiranagar police station and filed a complaint. According to Inspector Sunil Kumar, the victim’s complaint is being investigated by registering a case under sections of hostage taking, extortion, assault and threatening.
