Rape incident with a minor girl in Hapur, UP!!

A case of rape of a minor child of Dalit community has come to light in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here Junaid has been accused of holding a minor hostage and raping her for hours. When the victim’s father was going to the police station to complain about the incident, Arif and Jamiruddin stopped him and pressurized him to hush up the matter for Rs 2-4 lakh. The police have started investigation by registering an FIR against a total of 3 accused.
This case is of Hafizpur police station area of Hapur. Here on March 22 (Friday), the father of a 14-year-old Dalit girl lodged a complaint with the police. In the complaint, he told that on March 21, 2024, at around 3:30 pm, his daughter had gone to dry clothes. Meanwhile, Junaid, son of Imam Khan of his own village, reached there. He grabbed the girl’s face, picked her up in his lap and took her with him to the basement of Jamiruddin’s dairy. Here he took the victim hostage and raped her.
During this time, some children playing nearby heard the screams of the victim. When they reached the spot, Junaid ran away from there. The victim reached home and told her family about the incident. The victim’s father decided to report the matter to the police and left for the police station the next day. On the way he met Jamiruddin and Arif of the village. They stopped the victim’s father and put pressure on him to hush up the matter on the spot, calling it a small matter.
The accused offered Rs 2-4 lakh to the victim’s father to keep his mouth shut. When the complainant refused to compromise, Jamiruddin and Arif abused him by using caste related words. Not only this, both of them also threatened to eliminate the entire family of the victim. The accused said, “Well, Dalit girls are only for fun.”
The victim’s father described himself as extremely scared and demanded strict action against the accused. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered an FIR against Junaid, Jamiruddin and Arif. Apart from sections 376, 452, 342 and 506 of IPC, action has been taken against all of them under SC/ST and POCSO Act.

He also said that his family members are now facing problems. The victim’s uncle told that the main accused Junaid is about 42 years old. He has come from Gulf countries after earning money through illegal means
