New Delhi: A video of a young woman being beaten by a group of men is circulating on social media, with the claim that it’s a group of Hindutva extremists thrashing a Dalit girl.

American journalist and war correspondent Bilal Abdul Kareem tweeted the viral video, stating this was “Modi’s India, where Hindu extremists beat up Dalit women and film it.”
He added that “Allah should guide this woman to Islam.”

The Tweet has over 300 thousand views, 3,000 likes, and has been shared over 2,000 times.
In the viral video, a woman is chased by a group of men who beat her up with sticks while she cries for help.
Users also shared the video, claiming that a Dalit woman was assaulted by Hindu extremists for bathing in the river in Madhya Pradesh, noting that “such atrocities do not even happen in Afghanistan.”
