Amethi (UP): A 13-year-old Dalit girl was abducted from her house and allegedly raped by two men on Thursday in a village in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
Amethi Superintendent of Police Elamaran G said that the girl’s father has accused a Waris (20), who lives in his village, and an unknown person of abducting and raping his daughter.
“The two allowed the girl to return home in the morning,” he said. An FIR has been registered against the accused at Mohanganj police station here under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO), police said.
