Dalit wedding procession stopped, bride’s brother threatened with pistol, video goes viral
UP Crime News: There was a fierce dispute between both the parties. Its video is going viral on social media. It is alleged that the village head and his associates showed a pistol and threatened to kill the bride’s brother if he passed by the house.

Bulandshahr: The wedding procession of a Dalit’s daughter had come to Bulandshahr. The allegation is that when the band was passing by the village head’s house, the powerful village head and his associates parked the car in the middle of the road. He threatened to kill the bride’s brother by showing a gun if the marriage procession took place in front of his house. Also used caste related words.
SP Dehat Bajrang Bali Chaurasia said that a report has been registered against the village head and 3 unknown youths in Salempur police station. The video of the case is also going viral. The marriage procession of Shivkumar’s cousin sister had come to Parauli village of Salempur police station. The groom was riding on the carriage at night. The wedding band was beating the DJ with musical instruments.
It is alleged that when Chadhat reached near the house of village head Yogendra Sharma, the head stopped Chadhat from passing in front of the house. To stop the climb, the village head along with his colleagues and supporters parked the car on the way. This was opposed by the wedding guests and the bride’s family.
SP Dehat Bajrang Bali Chaurasia said that the bride’s brother Shivkumar son Surajpal has filed a report against village head Yogendra Sharma and 3 unknown accused under sections 504, 506 IPC and SC, ST Act. Inspector in-charge of Salempur police station has been instructed to take legal action in the matter.
