The police have sent both the named accused to jail. The victim has also been made an accused in a case. If Gadarwara TI Umesh Tiwari is to be believed, a Dalit youth from Chichli was taken away by Sillu Budhaulia and Suraj Kachera of the village on a bike on July 30. On the way, they pressured Premnarayan Verma to give them Rs 2 lakh. When he refused, both of them held him hostage and took him to Premnarayan. • Accused arrested: In Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district, a Dalit man was allegedly held hostage by two upper caste men and not only beaten but also forced to drink urine. The police have registered a case against the accused and taken them into custody.
• Victim’s complaint: The victim alleged that the accused took him on a motorcycle and kept him captive at a place. The accused asked him to bring two lakh rupees from a person named Premnarayan Verma and when he refused to do so, they beat him brutally and abused him on the basis of caste.
• Police investigation: Narsinghpur Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar said that a case has been registered and investigation is being done.

shameful incident: Gadarwara police registered a case against the victim on August 5 itself on the complaint of Premnarayan Verma. It is said that Suraj, Brijesh and the victim Dalit youth took a girl to Premnarayan on 30th July. They made a video of Premnarayan with the girl. They threatened to make it viral and demanded Rs. 4 lakhs.

shameful incident: The accused have been arrested. The victim has been medically examined, it has not been confirmed that he was made to drink urine. The matter is under investigation.
