In eluru district alone, 10,303 people have been given permanent rights over 12,886.37 acres of land.
Speaking on this occasion, cm jagan said that during his rule, 31 lakh house titles were given. He said that the land survey has already been completed in 42 lakh acres and the resurvey of land rights has been completed for four thousand villages. He said that the credit of conducting the first land survey after independence goes to his government, two phases of the survey have already been completed and the third phase of the survey is going to be started soon. He said that rights have been given to the waste lands of tribal farmers. He said that they are the government of the poor and that is why they are giving land rights to the poor. He also said that 2.07 lakh permanent jobs have been given in 53 months and 80 percent of them are for SC, ST, bc and minority.
