Ayodhya: Police finally woke up in the case of death of Dalit youth!, murder report registered against four
Sohawal, Ayodhya, Amrit Vichar. Police have registered a murder report against four people in connection with the suspicious recent death of Dalit youth Sunil, resident of Bhikharipur village of Purakalandar police station area. This report has been filed on the complaint of the wife of the deceased youth. After the dead body of the youth was found, family members and local people protested by blocking the road and alleged murder.
On Tuesday day, the body of Dalit youth Sunil Kumar, 40, son of Santram, resident of Bhikharipur village of the police station area, was found near a house in Moiya Kapoorpur village. After getting information about the case, family members and local people had protested for hours by blocking the Masoudha-Sohawal tehsil road, alleging murder and throwing the dead body.
Apart from the Purakalandar police, the police force of two other police stations had to be called on the spot and Deputy District Magistrate Sohawal Ashok Saini and CO Sadar Sanjeev Kumar Singh calmed down the anger of the family members and the crowd and ensured fair investigation, action against the culprits and All possible help was assured to the victim’s family.
After this, post-mortem of the body was conducted by a panel of doctors on Wednesday. After the last rites, a complaint was lodged with the police on behalf of the deceased’s wife Usha Devi. It is alleged that Dina Nath Tiwari, a resident of Tiwari Purva of the same police station area, her sons Somu, Rahul and an unknown person resident of the neighboring district Gonda attacked her with an iron rod and killed her husband Sunil.
Police station in-charge Ratan Kumar Sharma said that on the complaint of the deceased’s wife, a report has been registered against a total of four people under sections of murder and intimidation and SC/ST Act, naming three including father and son. Right now the police is waiting for the post mortem report. All aspects of the case are being investigated.
