11th Grade Student Missing Since December 5

A Dalit girl from Mimlana village in the city police station area went missing on December 5. She is an 11th-grade student. Despite several days passing, the police have made no progress. This news has caused deep resentment among the local people. Driven by this anger, activists under the banner of the United Hindu Front reached the minister’s residence in Gandhinagar. Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal was not in the city, so the protesters could not meet him. The people camped there and demanded immediate action.

Allegations of Love Jihad and Police Claims

Upon receiving information about the commotion, CO City ASP Siddharth Mishra arrived at the scene with a large police force. The police stated that a case has been registered based on the girl’s father’s complaint. The accused is a young man from another community, and a search is underway for him. Meanwhile, Hindu organizations have termed it a case of ‘love jihad’. Leaders alleged that the police are deliberately delaying the matter. This news has become a topic of discussion throughout the district.

Mahapanchayat to be Held on December 13
