Residents are troubled by broken and clogged drains in village panchayat Khamaria Dalit Basti of Basti Saughat. Dirty water is accumulating on the roads. This is affecting the movement of people.
Local residents Shyam Sundar, Dhoop Chand, Shailendra Bahadur, Suchit Kumar and Harilal said that this problem is very old. They have complained several times for the repair of drains. But no action has been taken by the administration.
Dirty water coming out of broken drains is entering the nearby houses. This is spoiling the cleanliness of the entire area. Pedestrians are facing problems. The risk of diseases has also increased due to the accumulation of dirty water.
Local people have demanded immediate action from the administration. They say that if the drains are not repaired soon, the situation may worsen.
