In Kolsara village, Koraon block, Prayagraj, two Dalit families are deprived of basic amenities. The families of Sonia Chauhan and Preeti Chauhan are forced to live under tarpaulin shelters.
Both families earn their living through manual labor. The benefits of government schemes have not reached these families. They have neither received housing, a toilet, nor a ration card.
The village head and the Panchayat secretary are paying no attention to the plight of these families. Being illiterate, these families are unable to communicate their problems to anyone.
Village residents like Rajesh, Urmila, Yogesh, Rajkumar, and Ramashankar say that the government should immediately address the plight of these poor families. Despite government orders, these families are not being provided with basic amenities.
