A Dalit family was attacked by members of a specific community in a dispute over goat grazing near Karma village, in the Gaur police station area. The incident occurred when the family was returning from a temple visit.
According to reports, an argument broke out between the two parties regarding clearing the path while grazing goats. This altercation escalated into a physical altercation.
Police took immediate action on the complaint of the victim’s family. Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhinandan took cognizance of the matter upon receiving the information.
On the SP’s instructions, a case was immediately registered against the accused and orders were issued for their arrest.
