New Delhi: Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Wednesday to reiterate his allegations of alleged vote theft. Rahul Gandhi also mentioned a Brazilian model. He claimed that this Brazilian model cast 22 fake votes in 10 booths in the Haryana elections. Following Rahul’s allegations, people started searching Google to find out who this Brazilian model was. Now, a video of this Brazilian model has surfaced. In the video, the model describes herself.
What did the model say in the video?
In the video, a Brazilian model named ‘Larissa’ expressed shock after discovering that her photo was allegedly used multiple times on Haryana’s voter list. Reacting to the news, the Brazilian model shared a video on X. Speaking in Portuguese, she jokingly said, “Guys, I’m going to tell you a joke. This is very bad! Are they using my old photo? My photo is old; I was young then. They’re using my photo for voting in India, calling me Indian to fight each other. Look how strange this is!”
Hello India, I was asked to do a video for Indian journalists. That’s why I’m making this video. I have nothing to do with Indian politics. I’ve never been to India. I was a Brazilian model and digital influencer. I love the people of India. Thank you very much. Namaste!
“I only know Namaste”
The Brazilian model said, “I made this official video for the people of India.” She further added, “Now I’ll have to learn some Indian words as well.” Larissa asked, “What are these words? I only know Namaste, and what other words do I need to learn?” The model continued, “I’ll become famous in India. Can you believe it? I will become famous. Got it? That’s all I have to say on this issue. Now it’s very serious. That’s all I have to say on this issue.”
Earlier, the model said, “Do you think I look Indian? I think I look Mexican.” The model continued, “I want to thank the kindness of you Indians who are seeing my stories here.” She added that they are sending them to Indian newspapers and translating them for India.
Indian journalists contacting her
In the video, Larissa revealed that a reporter even contacted her at her workplace. Additionally, he was contacted on Instagram for comments on his alleged participation in the elections in India. He further said, “A friend sent me another photo, you won’t believe it,” and described the situation as “unbelievable” and “strange.” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has intensified his accusations of “vote theft” against the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Election Commission, alleging that 2.5 million fake votes were cast in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections.
