The rare interaction, their first in nearly five years, has fuelled speculation about the future of Congress-TMC relations and the broader opposition strategy against the BJP.
While Banerjee reportedly discussed issues related to the Election Commission and opposition unity, analysts remain cautious about reading too much into the meeting, especially in the absence of Rahul Gandhi.
