Thakurs did not like Dalit’s Ghudchadhi, Rajput community people beat up the groom’s side
(Amit Kumar) Muzaffarnagar News: In Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, caste conflict broke out between two parties on Monday… when a Dalit youth’s Ghudchadhi was being taken out in the village… It is alleged that during that time, Rajput community people of the village started opposing the Dalit youth’s Ghudchadhi and playing DJ… Soon, a fight broke out between the two parties… in which many people including the groom’s brother have suffered serious injuries… Now, the police is investigating the matter. Actually, the incident is from Madhkarimpur village situated in Khatauli Kotwali area where today, Ghudchadhi of a Dalit youth Amrit was being taken out in the village…at the same time, some Rajput community people of the village opposed taking out Ghudchadhi on a mare and playing DJ…after which, a fight broke out between the two sides…in which 3 to 4 people including the groom’s brother have suffered serious injuries…who have been admitted to the hospital.
On receiving the information of the incident, CO Khatauli Ramashish Yadav reached the spot with the police force and tried to calm the matter…and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment…while on the complaint of the victim groom’s side, the police has registered a case in this matter and started further action. Whereas, CO Ramashish Yadav says that the dispute was over Ghorchadhi and playing DJ…especially the dispute increased when people of Rajput community objected to playing caste based songs and asked to stop the songs…Police say that due to this, there was an altercation between both the parties and a fight broke out.
At the same time, police has registered a case on the complaint of the groom’s side..and has assured appropriate action…Along with this, the marriage ceremony of the victim’s side is being conducted in the presence of heavy police force.
