Political high drama continues in UP; Akhilesh Yadav does not want Dalits with him, says Chandrashekhar Azad ‘Ravan’
Political high drama continued in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh with Dalit leader Chandrashekhar Azad ‘Ravan’ claiming that Samajwadi Party leaderAkhilesh Yadav does not want Dalits with him.
After meeting Yadav, ‘Ravan’ saidhis party, the Bhim Army, wanted to join the SP to defeat the BJP.
“However, Akhilesh Yadav does not want Dalits, We wanted to join because we don’t want the BJP to return to power,” he said, adding that Dalits would fight on their own.
Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday wished BSP leader Mayawati on her birthday.
Mayawati is expected to address a press conference and make some major announcements.
The day may also see the BJP unveil its first list for poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
Akhilesh Yadav is also expected to make some more announcements regarding some new entries.
