It has been learned about the incident that Tehgach police station chief along with the son of the local chief took a Dalit woman hostage first. After that the SHO carried out the incident of rape with her for eight days. The woman has pleaded for justice by reaching the SP of the district. The SP immediately took cognizance of the matter and lodged an FIR against the first accused, the sub-inspector. Along with that a SIT team was formed. The SIT in its investigation found the allegation to be true.

After that, on the orders of SP Dr. Inamul Haq Menganu, a case was registered under Tehdagach police station case number 39/23. Further action is being taken by imposing sections 343, 376B, 384, 385, 34 etc. on the inspector. The accused SHO Neeraj Kumar Nirala is absconding since the incident. Another accused chief’s son Manoj Kumar Yadav is also absconding. Another cooperative driver has been arrested. The victim Dalit woman is a resident of UP. A few years ago, Mohd., a resident of Tedragachh. She was married to Manovar. She had reached Tedragach to see her in-laws and to search for her husband.

During this, the victim asked Inspector Neeraj Kumar Nirala to help her find her husband’s house. After that Neeraj Kumar Nirala and Chief’s son Manoj Yadav took the woman into their confidence and imprisoned her. After that both of them carried out the incident of gang rape with the woman. In the complaint of the victim woman, it has been said that apart from rape, she was tortured during these eight days. The woman has also accused both the accused of extorting money.

SP said – strict action will be taken

Regarding the complaint of the woman, Kishanganj SP Dr. Inamul Haque Menganu told that whoever commits the crime, he will not be spared. He told that immediately after the matter came to light, the SIT was formed under the leadership of DSP and the investigation was done. The allegation of the woman has been found to be true. Case has been registered. There will be arrest of the inspector with various sections. After that departmental action will also be taken on him. The incident is being discussed all over Bihar. Not only this, the Kishanganj police is also being defamed to a great extent. According to the information received from the NBT correspondent, the SP has suspended the inspector.
