Dalit Beaten in MP: On September 15, an incident of violence against several Dalits came to light in the Badamalhara police station area of ????Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. One of the injured people went missing. A Dalit named Chali Khangar was kidnapped. A missing case was registered with the police station (Chhatarpur Police). His rotten body was found hanging from a tree in the forest near the village. Looking at the dead body, it was understood that he was tortured badly and killed. In this case, the family has also accused the Congress leader and has requested the SP to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
Beaten while returning home
Bhagirath Khagar, Virendra Khangar, Kapuribai Khangar and Chali Khangar, residents of Barma village, Badamalhara police station area, were beaten up by four people with sticks when the four were going to their village in a taxi. On the complaint of these victims, Badamalhara police had registered a case against three named and one other resident of Burma village for assault and under SC-ST Act. After this, the next day on September 16, Bhagirath’s son Chali Khangar went to the field, but did not return home. The family had registered a missing person case in Badamalhara police station and gave a written application to District SP Aagam Jain.
Dead body found in the forest
The deceased’s father and brother along with the police searched for the missing Chali Khangar in the forest. During the search on Saturday, they found his body hanging from a banyan tree near the drain. The deceased was identified by his shoes. On the other hand, angry with the death of their son in such a condition, the family members blocked the road in front of the police post in Sendhapa village. The family members alleged that the accused Rampal Ghosh, Gajendra Singh, Ghosh Narendra Singh Ghosh and another person together killed Chali. The family also alleged that Chali’s murder is now being portrayed as a suicide. The blockade was cleared after an hour of persuasion and efforts by the police officers.
