In Bihar, Congress will have to be given ‘pride’! With one ‘move’ of Rahul Gandhi, every plan of Lalu-Tejaswi will ‘fail’

Bihar Politics: In the Delhi Assembly elections, Congress took revenge on Kejriwal by not forming an alliance and showed that fighting among ourselves causes harm. Congress has forced other regional parties to think by getting more than 6 percent votes. Along with this, it has also given a signal to RJD that if Kejriwal is taken lightly, it will not take long to finish him.

- Delhi elections showed that Congress is important for regional parties!
- RJD’s ignorance towards Congress in Bihar can be costly!
- Ignoring Congress is dangerous for regional parties!
Patna: Congress’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections has taught a big lesson to regional parties. Congress may have remained at zero in Delhi, but its votes played an important role in the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). This makes it clear how important an alliance with Congress is for anti-BJP regional parties. If regional parties do not give importance to Congress, it will not take long for Kejriwal to emerge. Congress has clearly indicated to Lalu Yadav and Tejaswi Yadav from Delhi that they will have to give importance to every solution in Bihar elections.
Not forming alliance with Congress was a big mistake!
In fact, Congress did not open its account in Delhi, but the more than 6% votes received by the party reduced AAP’s seats from 63 to 22. BJP got a big victory with 48 seats. This defeat is a lesson for AAP that not forming alliance with Congress was a big mistake. Also, this election showed that Congress is both necessary and a compulsion for regional parties. In Delhi, Congress proved the saying ‘Hum toh doobhe hain sanam, tumhe bhi le doobenge’ true.
Congress necessary and a compulsion!
Now the question arises that why is Congress a need and a compulsion too? Its answer is found in Haryana assembly elections. AAP had refused to join hands with Congress. After Lok Sabha elections, INDIA alliance got its first setback. Congress and AAP fought separately. As a result, both suffered losses. AAP became a major reason for Congress’s defeat.
In Delhi too, there was no alliance between the two and the result is in front of everyone. And here Congress became the reason for AAP’s defeat. Meaning, the revenge of Haryana was taken in Delhi. Election Commission figures show that AAP got more than 43 percent votes and BJP got about 46 percent votes. On the other hand, Congress got more than 6% votes. Congress played such a game with Kejriwal by taking 6 percent votes that now he is out of power.
Now alarm bells for RJD
Before Delhi elections, RJD did not give importance to Congress in Bihar. Although there is not much discord between Congress and RJD in Bihar. But Rahul Gandhi’s statement on caste census has made RJD uncomfortable. Tejashwi Yadav is on the backfoot due to Rahul Gandhi’s statement. Here Congress wants the 2020 seats from RJD at any cost.
On the other hand, Lalu Yadav was not in the mood to give 70 seats to Congress till now. There was news from inside that Lalu-Tejaswi want to give less than 50 assembly seats to Congress. But after the Delhi result, it has become clear that if Congress comes out of the Mahagathbandhan, then Arvind Kejriwal can make Lalu family a part of Bihar.
Ignoring Congress is no longer possible
The election results of Delhi have given a clear message to the regional parties. Ignoring Congress can be harmful for them. Political pundits also believe that Congress is an important link in the anti-BJP alliance. By ignoring it, regional parties will shoot themselves in the foot. However, now it has to be seen how much importance RJD gives to Congress in the Bihar assembly elections.
