City police officer Manoj Pathak said that an FIR has been registered in the case and both the accused have been arrested and sent to jail.
City police inspector Arvind Yadav said that the Dalit woman gave a written complaint and said that she had gone to her maternal home with her husband and 17-year-old daughter on Saturday evening for a thirteenth day ceremony.

Meanwhile, the car went out of control and collided with an electric pole.
On this, both the youths left the car and ran away. The girl somehow reached home and informed her family about the entire incident. Inspector Crime said that Maharajganj outpost in-charge Dinesh Rai arrested both the accused from their house. Both have been sent to jail after being presented in the court.
