Exclusive- Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma to enter Prem Leela says, “I’m excited to shoot with my daughter Saachi Tiwari”

Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma, who was last seen in the TV show ‘Dhruv Tara’ is excited to enter Prem Leela, which stars Saachi Tiwari, Aakash Ahuja and Monalisa in titular roles. The show is produced by Gul Khan.

She said, “I’m happy to return back on screen. I will play an important role in the story. I’m actually excited to do this show because of Saachi who plays the lead role of Leela. She’s like my daughter and I share very good terms with her family. I’m starting my shoots from today.”

Talking ahead about taking a break she revealed, “I didn’t choose to take a break, but it was given to me or in other ways I was struggling to find good work. Many times I was finalised and later on replaced. I’m upset with the fact that there are not many roles or opportunities for transgenders. As makers cast a man and gave them our look which is quite sad. But we can’t help. I’m thankful that finally there’s some work for me and back to set. Hopefully, 2025 keeps me blessed throughout.”

Shubhi recently faced a severe health crisis after having a road accident during New Year.
