Corruption in Uttar Pradesh : UP officers want poor-Dalit land in bribe for consolidation
Corruption in Uttar Pradesh: There is no one to understand the pain of the people of Triveni village of Banda district in Bundelkhand area of Uttar Pradesh. In the name of consolidation of the land of the people here, the officials are getting them to write the land in the form of bribe in the name of themselves or their relatives.
If the people of the village refuse to pay the bribe, their consolidation file is hanged for eternity. In such a situation, the Dalit and poor people living in the village are forced to wander here and there.
The women of the village say that one thing they do not have land, which is a little uber-khabar land, even in the name of its consolidation, the officials ask for bribe, if the bribe is not paid, the work of the file is stopped.
Some Lekhpals and COs even get the land written in the name of themselves or their relatives in the name of consolidation. The people of the village say that their land is being snatched from them by giving the lure of two lakhs. They are in trouble but there is no one to listen to them.
Let us tell you that this is the condition of the state where the Chief Minister describes Uttar Pradesh as the best state and claims to have the best governance, but there is no one to listen to these poor people of Bundel block. People of poor families have already been killed for employment, now even a small amount of land with them is being snatched away from them by deceit.
