Case of 40 Dalit children not going to school due to fear: Officials made a compromise between the two villages, also talked to the children
40 Dalit children of Sitarampur village located in the police station area of ????Mainpuri had recently stopped going to school due to fear. The children and their parents protested against the threats of the goons and demanded a solution from the administration. After the matter got prominence in the media, the officials took immediate action and got a compromise done between the two villages.
Dalit children of Sitarampur used to go to Hardaspur Primary School to study, but in the last 10-12 days, after a fight with the village goons, the parents of the children stopped sending their children to school out of fear. The video of this situation went viral on social media, due to which the matter became serious.
Understanding the seriousness of the matter, BSA Deepika Gupta, Deputy District Magistrate Neeraj Kumar Dwivedi, CO Karhal Santosh Kumar Singh, Police Station Incharge Lalit Bhati and Block Education Officer Uday Narayan Katihar went to the village and got the talks done between the two parties. He called all the villagers to the school and got them to reach a mutual settlement and get a written agreement.
Due to the efforts of the officials, the Dalit children of Sitarampur will now return to school without fear. The officials have guaranteed to resolve any kind of differences between the two villages and have assured that such problems will not be repeated in future.
