According to the police, the girl left the house at 10 pm on Thursday to attend a religious event, but she did not return. The family searched for her in the village, but when she was not found, they lodged a missing report in Ayodhya police station on Friday. The family alleges that the police did not show any activism in the search for the girl and only completed the formalities. Information about the body being found on Saturday morning On Saturday morning, the girl’s brother-in-law saw her body in a small canal half a kilometer away from the village. He informed the family about this, after which a crowd gathered at the spot.
The family said that the girl’s eyes were gouged out and many bones of her body were also broken. They suspect that the girl was killed after being gang-raped. At the time of finding the body, the girl’s body was naked, her hands and feet were tied with rope and there were serious injury marks on the face and head. Police have said that the investigation of the case is going on and all aspects are being looked into.
