Dirty water comes from the hand pump

Due to the decrease in the water level in summer, many hand pumps got damaged and many started giving dirty water. Due to non-availability of the Nal Jal Yojana being run by the Bihar government, people wait for hours in this scorching heat in the hope of railways for drinking water.
Government hand pumps are lying bad
On the other hand, Ramesh Kumar of Ward No. 2 says that there is a settlement of about 1700 people here. Many people have tap water scheme installed in their homes but all are unsuccessful. When the Nal Jal Yojana was started here on the initiative of the government, the motor was damaged. Villagers stand in the scorching sun and wait for the train. When the train arrives, everyone goes to get water. Also, sometimes it happens that the train does not come, after which the work is done by asking for water from the nearby people or buying it. Government hand-pumps are often lying damaged. If the government hand pump is good, then dirty water comes from it. Due to which the villagers are facing lot of problems. Also, most of the villagers are dependent on railway water.
5 crore tap water scheme
The chief councilor representative of the same Nagar Panchayat, Shivji says that there was a plan of tap water of about ? 5 crore in Mohania city. In which water was to be supplied to the people through tap water in 16 wards. Due to lack of officials, tap water is not able to provide water completely in all the wards. A complaint has been made in this regard from the District Officer to the Principal Secretary, but no action has been taken. He further said that the villagers would be given water under the scheme as soon as possible after meeting the officers in the Nagar Panchayat.
21 schemes in 16 wards
The same Nagar Panchayat executive officer says that there are 16 wards in Mohania Nagar Panchayat, in which the work of tap water scheme has been done under 21 schemes. In which almost tap water scheme is operational in 8 wards and somewhere it is closed due to motor failure or pipe burst and low water level. Trying to fix it as soon as possible. Those where the pipes have burst are also being repaired. Where the motor is burnt, they are also being repaired. In a span of about 1 week, all the people will start getting water from the tap.
